ExamHub ("we", "us") operates an online educational platform providing admission portals, online examinations, and counselling services. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

3. How We Protect Your Data
- All connections use TLS 1.2+ (HTTPS).
- Sensitive fields (phone, date of birth, address) are encrypted at rest using AES-256 (Laravel Crypt).
- Passwords are hashed with BCrypt (12 rounds) — never stored in plaintext.
- Proctoring images are stored on a non-public disk — not accessible via URL.
- Access to admin tools is controlled by Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
4. Retention Periods
- Proctoring snapshots: deleted after 30 days from the exam date.
- Application documents: retained for the duration of the admission lifecycle.
- Login logs: retained for 90 days for security auditing.
- Anonymised records: account structure retained indefinitely for reporting; all PII replaced with placeholder values.
5. Your Rights
Under applicable data protection law you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectify inaccurate data via your profile settings.
- Delete your account — which anonymises all PII immediately (see your dashboard settings).
- Object to processing for direct marketing purposes.

6. Third Parties
- Razorpay — payment processing (they have their own privacy policy).
- Twilio — SMS OTP delivery only; we do not share your full profile.
- No data is sold or shared with advertisers.
